To prepare for a long-distance hike, gradually increase your mileage and pack weight during training hikes. Make sure to break in your hiking boots and test out your gear before the trip. It is also important to practice proper nutrition and hydration. If you sign up for one of our HAPBe! Expeditions, a training plan will be provided!

Your safety is our highest priority. Our experienced guides are trained in wilderness first aid, altitude sickness prevention, and local terrain navigation, ensuring you are in expert hands at every stage. For high altitude international treks like Everest Base Camp and Kilimanjaro, we monitor altitude levels closely, provide guidance on acclimatization, and encourage hydration to minimize risks of altitude sickness. In the unlikely event of an emergency, our team has protocols in place to arrange evacuation services, and we partner with trusted local agencies that can respond quickly when necessary. We also advise all participants to purchase travel and medical insurance that covers adventure activities.er to this item.
We offer flexible payment options to make booking your dream adventure easier. A deposit is required to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. For early bookings, you can enjoy a 10% discount when paying the full amount upfront. If you prefer, we also offer interest-free monthly payment plans so you can spread the cost over several months leading up to your trip.
We understand that plans can change, so we have a flexible cancellation policy. If you need to cancel more than 60 days before departure, you’ll receive a full refund minus the deposit. For cancellations between 30 and 60 days before departure, you’ll receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations within 30 days of departure are non-refundable, but we’ll work with you to apply a portion of your payment to a future trip if possible. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather or travel restrictions, we may reschedule or offer a credit for future travel.
Yes, we encourage a sense of community among our travelers! For international trips, we organize virtual meetups where participants can connect, ask questions, and get to know each other before embarking on the adventure. Additionally, we provide a private social media group where travelers can interact, share tips, and plan pre-trip meetups if they’re in the same area. This way, you’ll already feel like part of a team when the journey begins.
To provide an intimate and personalized experience, our groups are usually between 6 and 12 participants, depending on the trip. This size allows us to keep the experience more immersive and adaptable while ensuring each adventurer receives individual attention. For a trip to proceed, at least 4 participants are required.
For private or custom trips, we can accommodate groups as small as 2 and up to 20 or more upon special request, depending on the location and nature of the trek.
